The Spider Group wants people to handle things correctly, break them less often and be able to get quick help in any life situation, even if no one is around. That’s why we released FASTcall, a free mutual help app on the App Store and Google Play.
In FASTcall, it is easy to transfer knowledge to each other: the person who provides assistance immediately sees what his interlocutor sees, and can suggest a solution with voice and augmented reality tools, such as arrows with numbers and lines drawn with fingers on the screen. All of these AR things attach to objects and remain in place, even if you turn or move away.
Using FASTcall you can show your child how to use the washing machine, or help a friend change the wheel on the road. In the office, FASTcall will help the support team quickly show you how to handle a large printer or to become the master of a coffee machine. In the production workshop, you can ask the foreman a question about working with the equipment, even if the foreman has left for another facility. Parents and children, the elderly, engineers, doctors, teachers, drivers — the application is useful for people of all ages and professions.
To make a call in the FASTcall, send an invitation to anyone in your contacts. If your friend already have a FASTcall, there will be a special icon:
The app runs on iOS and Android with ARCore and ARKit support, respectively. You can find out more about FASTcall at fastcall.app.
FASTcall is an internal startup of business solutions developer Spider Group and part of the FASTEP user support platform, which is aimed at manufacturers of industrial and household appliances. This SaaS platform also includes interactive AR guides, which, combined with video communication, form a turnkey solution for work optimization and after-sales service.
